Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
– Ephesians 4:13
According to Chris Vaughn (Josh Wegel), “Life is a journey. Not so much to a destination but a transformation.” Sometimes our richest times are right in the midst of our hardest. Transformation is tough. We don’t often end up the person we think we will, but God has filled our lives with two great gifts: purpose and passion. We need to find what these are and use them to drive us through the rocky paths. Life is not about starting and finishing. It is about beginning and ending as a completely transformed man from the one who started it.
No man has ever thought of life as a place to get to and felt fulfilled getting there. A fulfilled life knows the wealth of life lies below the punches that often pretend to make life not worth living. But purpose puts us on a track we are pleased running, except you have not found it. And passion gives us the energy to keep running through the frost until the time is up. By this time, you are already leading other people who were afraid of stepping into their tracks.
A man of God once described the law of transformation as, “Whatever you admire is what you will likely become.” Men of purpose understand life as a journey to a transformation driven by purpose. They understand purpose, admire each of it that God has given them, and are transformed into it. For them, life is not a journey of start and finish. It is one of starting and finishing as the right man. The best part of the journey is that God has left you space to change the world. So you know He really wants you to be a hero.
You will succeed in Jesus Name!
